I went to see Fun Home before the Tonys (May 20th) and Im seeing it again on June 17th. I had an amazing stage door experience when I saw it back in May, however it was before all of the Tonys hype that has followed the show's big wins. Does anyone know what the stage door has been like since? Last time only a few people stayed after the matinee and the actors were not behind any ropes. Just wondering if I should brace myself for a crazy stage door or not.
ThankYou!!

It was a little busier than I think stage door was before the Tonys, but people still just stood inside the lobby to talk with the cast and get playbills signed when I was there this past wednesday. It wasn't hectic at all. Lisa Kron was there and signed and took pictures with people as well.
What cast members come out to sign?

Everyone except Emily Skeggs, who usually comes out and signs, came out after the performance I was at. It was a Wednesday matinee.
After a matinee that I saw everyone came out besides Sydney and Emily.
I saw the show on Thursday, and everyone came out except Judy.
It's possible that Judy Kuhn just exited really quickly. When I saw it in previews, I was standing outside (because I was used to standing outside to wait for actors at the CITC). Judy came out very soon after the show ended, while people were still filing out, and I was the only one to spot her. She was very sweet and was happy to sign, pose and chat.

The actors seem to leave very quickly. The last time I saw the show, I went downstairs to use the bathroom after and by the time I came back up to the lobby (no more than 10 minutes after the show ended), most of the cast (Cerveris, Kuhn, Malone, Perez and Colindrez) were already in the lobby signing.

I was there this past Saturday and the stage door wasn't that crowded at all, though probably more so than before the Tonys. They had the rope up in the lobby for everyone to wait behind and there were quite a few people who were waiting outside next to the door. I think they had some type of rope or barricade up outside as well. Everyone was able to get their stuff signed and take pictures with the cast though. I did make the mistake of going to the bathroom after the show and by the time I came upstairs, most of the cast was already well through the line :/.

For whoever has gone recently, does most of the cast come out after matinees? Thank you.

I didn't see the show, nor was I at the stage door, but I was walking past the theatre today heading towards a friend's place and noticed both Beth Malone and Emily Skeggs signing for people. I know that not much information but at least you know some of them do come out :)
Went tonight and the stage door crowd wasn't bad at all. At the most it was two deep along the rope, IF that. Everyone came out, BUT not sure Emily Skeggs did. We waited around 10-15 minutes after the kids came out for her and then left, so not sure if she ever made it out that exit.
Everyone was incredibly nice and allowed pictures. (:

Thank you guys for your help. Promisespromises2, even though it was two people deep did everyone sign/do pictures for everyone? Or only those that were in the first level. And is it still both the option of waiting in the lobby or outside, or is it just one area now? Thank you.
Yes! Everyone signed and posed for pictures for everyone. They were extremely nice. Sydney Lucas said something about catching her brother at curtain call, so she had to be quick, but she still graciously took the time to autograph and take photos.
The option of waiting inside the lobby and outside was there when I went.

This doesn't help those asking about the matinee much but for what it's worth, I was there on a Thursday night two weeks ago and was able to get signatures from every cast member at the stage door.
I was inside but there were a lot of people there including the outside crowd. Some mentioned how the cast comes out quickly and that's true, but I was able to hustle to the bathroom and get upstairs in plenty of time. Everyone came out within 20 minutes I'd say, but I did wait about 40 minutes for Michael Cerveris - I just couldn't leave without getting my window card signed by him. I'm glad I did since it has the whole cast now.
Have fun! The cast is great!
