Fun Home or The Color Purple on TodayTix question

Hi all. I had a quick question: has anyone purchased a ticket to Fun Home and/or The Color Purple on TodayTix? If they appear for next Saturday evening, I am thinking I'll give it a shot but was curious if it's worth it first. I'm not super particular about seating, but I'd rather go with the show that will likely be a better deal/viewing per standard/usual/often-the-case seats at such a steep discount. Any advice would be great. Also, am I better off trying for a lottery (Fun Home) or rush (The Color Purple)...? Thank you SO much.

The Fun Home lottery and Color Purple rush are very hard to win/get tickets from, but with Fun Home at least there's not a bad seat in the house, as it's in the round, so TodayTix is great for that one. Haven't used it for the Color Purple so I can't speak to that one though.

I've won the Fun Home lotto 3 times on Today Tix, always sat in the same section. If you imagine the orchestra to be the back of the stage, the seats have been on house left on the opposite side, great view! For The Color Purple on Today Tix, I had seats in the second last row of the mezzanine and it was a fantastic view! Enjoy!

Thank you for the heads up! If I may ask, do you think the view from the read mezz would be good for "The Color Purple"...? Excited about returning to Circle in the Square. I was last there to see Audra McDonald play Lady Day, and while it was a thrust configuration, it was SUBLIME! Sat in the front row, a seat right along the vom wall, so she was within arms reach every time she appeared or left the stage. Siiiigh. So perfect.

I disagree. Front Mezz is the absolute best spot to see this show.
