That is fantastic...I loved him when I saw him in that role!
Gary Beach certainly knows how to fill that dress.

How unfortunate. When I saw it when Gary was in it, he was walking through his performance. I couldn't figure out why he won the Tony.

Walking through the performance? I saw him twice in the role (once right before he left) and never did I feel he was walking through it. On the contrary - I thought he gave more than a lot of the cast did!
I'm really excited about him returning - but it doesn't look like I'll get a chance to see him again, major bummer...

Good thing I didnt see hunter a few weeks ago, cause as much as I think gary beach is one of the funniest actors, I dont know if I would have gone back just to see him. Now at least I have two very good reasons to go back and see it again:)
I loved Beach when I saw him with Lane and Broderick, but when I saw him opposite Brad Oscar and Steven Webber, I too thought he was walking through the role. Then again, the whole show felt very mechanical and far less funny that time.
Yay! I love Gary Beach! I missed him so much the last time I saw the show. No one can do it like Gary! His "springtime for Hiltler" has always been the highlight for me and the only song I listen to on the cd. "Heil myself. Watch my show. I'm the German Ethel Merman dontcha know!"

I agree with you there, the only song on the cd I listen to is Springtime as well. I told him that he was the reason I liked the recording and was amused with that and said I was a cute kid. He was awesome in la cage
I wish he'd try and tackle playing Max Bialystock !

I'm not remotely a fan of his, but I've never seen him walk through that part. Any time I've seen it, he's given it his all.
