That's what he does; he gets them from the inside. Riedel isn't a critic, he's a gossip columnist, and he finds things only tangentially related to the production itself, and things about the people involved with which to tear a show down.
With Taboo, he picked on Rosie. Then he picked on Raúl for his disagreement with Rosie. Much of the show's bad press, even before the reviews, was his doing.
He'll do the same thing to Lennon, if that's what he wants.
He's amusing until he says hurtful things about someone or something *you* really like.
