Something about that Twitter comment makes me nauseous.
I personally thought the show was a Big Fat Pretentious Bore. Can he do impressions and run a mile a minute? Yes. Is his stamina amazing? Yes. But why should I care?
I saw it pretty early on the run, so I'm not sure if this changed but:
SPOILER
The show ends with a phone sex joke after a brilliant false ending. After two hours of self-love, he finally starts to admit to his flaws and focus on them, giving the show a tender pull in the right direction (finally). Then he has a huge build-up to a blackout. 10 seconds later, he negates the build-up by going for one last laugh about phone sex.
Barf.
