T2R - You're welcome and thank you for joining the DANCE! With luck on our side - maybe we won't even have to worry about the appeal Tuesday. Maybe, just maybe, this will be settled this weekend and by Monday night or Tuesday morn, we can all dance. For now, the Grinch performing this weekend is enough. Ditto the Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. re: GRINCH to Re-open Friday!!

I think what is important is determining who the stage hands are working for before deciding whether or not their picket line against the St. James was justified. My understanding is that although the stagehands are paid and hired by the show, they are technically working for the theatre itself, based on the demands of the show. As such, then I don't see how the decision to re-open the show can be upheld, since Jujamcyn is the "official" employer.

However, I think that if Jujamcyn wins their appeal and they shut down the show, then any public support the League has will dissipate instantaneously. The press coverage initially painted the Union as Grinches...wait until it gets ahold of Jujamcyn.

I attended the 11am Grinch re-opening. There were atleast four video cameras, and I guess news people talking to audience members outside the theatre. There was a photographer inside the theatre throughout the show. There was a pre-show speech from the producer that was also caught on film. He said two weeks ago he was making his opening day speech and today he was quoting the judge who said this was our city and we need to do whats best for it. He spoke of the cast and crew all being great and supportive through the strike. Needless to say the crowd was extremely enthusiastic and pretty much everyone did the sing-a-long.

I enjoyed the show a lot more this year than last. Last year I felt like the stage and house were too big and I felt so far away. Im so glad I went.

I was there this morning as well. There were definitely seven video cameras, each being shoved into different people's faces.

But the show made up for it. It was fantastic! The cast has so much energy and they are all so darn cute!

Fans of Patti' GYPSY: Sami Gayle, who was Baby June this summer, plays Cindy Lou Who, and she is wonderful. She really gets to sing a lot more than she did this summer, and she had the audience cheering multiple times. Patrick Page was marvelous as well.

A special shout out to stand out Citizen of Whoville Hunter Bell! re: GRINCH to Re-open Friday!!

I'm glad THE GRINCH is back entertaining audiences! I couldn't take the smile off my face from beginning to end.
