Hello. I would start with
http://www.theatreinchicago.com which is a pretty comprehensive listing of shows and professional reviews in Chicago. The first week in June currently lists about 30 shows playing but that may grow as time goes on. Just type in the dates you are looking for a show.
I would also look at
http://www.broadwayinchicago.com for touring shows - On Your Feet a pre-Broadway tryout and Once a return of the national touring company appear to be the only touring shows running in June.
The League of Chicago Theatres website is also a good bet -
http://www.chicagoplays.com That website has a link to
http://www.hottix.org the Chicago equivalent of TKTS in NYC.
Finally, Goldstar Chicago is a great website for advance discount tickets -
http://www.goldstar.com/chicago. Plus they have reviews by theatre patrons rather than professional critics.
Steppenwolf, Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare, Lookingglass, Timeline, Stage 773, Theatre Wit, the Den Theatre, Court Theatre and the Chopin Theatre are some of the more prominent theatre companies/venues in Chicago so always check their websites.
Hope this helps.
