I'll be in New York next week for 4 days, Jan. 2nd through the 5th.  Will probably try to get a rush ticket for Gutenberg! on Friday, Jan. 5.  Anyone here do the rush line recently?  Is 9:00 AM early enough?  Or 8:30 AM to be safe?

I saw the show the weekend before Thanksgiving, and got to the theatre at 8:30am, and was the 3rd in line.  You should be just fine by 8:30am as well.  My single ticket was 2nd row, right on the aisle.  Enjoy it - you'll love it!

For one show days i think 8:30 should be fine. I'd get in line before that though to be safe.

I decided to play it safe yesterday morning.  Got to the JEJ Theatre at 7:55 AM and was 4th in line.  I ended up getting the very last rush ticket, which was an excellent seat.  The girl behind me got a standing room ticket.

Last night's show was totally sold out.  Rannells and Gad have incredible chemistry.  Very funny show.  I couldn't stop laughing.  Great experience for the price of a rush ticket.

Hello! Arriving Thursday morning and headed right to Gutenberg! for rush, hoping to be there no later than 8:00am.  Has anyone had any experiences with rush this last week? I do see they also offer SRO, when sold out and would be happy with this as well.

Hi there! I rushed last Wednesday. I arrived at the Box Office around 1:30pm and was able to secure a rush seat for the 2pm matinee.  The weather was on my side—it was freezing and it had snowed the night before—so I knew odds were favorable. Good Luck!

I lined up at the box office around 50 minutes before it opened today. There were probably 8-10 people in front of me when I arrived, and the line really started to grow 40-45 minutes before the box office opened. I figured I'd be too late for rush and was more aiming for SRO, which I assumed would be available since the performance looked close to sold out on Telecharge.

Rush tickets were all gone, but the box office offered me either SRO or partial view orchestra for $99. I sprung for the partial view. Can't compare, but I highly recommend the partial view orchestra seats if they give you that option and you don't mind spending a little more. My view was hardly partial; the only obstruction is that I couldn't see the drummer super well.

Norm Lewis was today's guest and the show was a fun time!
