I went over the weekend and while I found parts of this exciting, it's muddled and sorely needs focus... I'm bummed they didn't have it together more because when this is good, it's intoxicating. Agree with the positive reports. What it is is a sturdy show with good bones that's just all-around solid. It's one of those productions where you can tell that the creatives are all on the same page about how to best serve the story. I’m still ecstatic after going last night. Could they have put any more love and care into creating this movie? Huh, it's a shame they're thinking of changing it. On top of sounding snappy, Gun & Powder tells you precisely what the show's about in a way these less memorable titles don't.
