GYPSY seat question

Hi

I'm ready to buy two tickets for GYPSY in July and I have a question...

Is it better the side orchestra (J 17 and 19) or the MEZZ CENTER (D 105 - 106)

I don't know how high is the Mezz at the St. James theater...

Please help me! Thanks!

Mezz, The others are fine but if you are going to do seats to the side always go to the box office for partial view for less.

re: GYPSY seat question

During intermission at the Producers, I went up the mezz to see what the view was like. I remember the front mezz being close to the stage and thought it was a great view!

re: GYPSY seat question

Thank you very much for al the comments!

I checked telecharge and the other seats avaliable were ORCH A - 110 and 111 ...

I've read at the previews posts that the stage is too high and you don't see well from there...

Is that true or those seats are my best option?

Thanks again!

re: GYPSY seat question

The stage is a bit high...I sat in row B and sometimes you can't see their feet, but that's about it. My suggestion would be to find something in the center a tad further back if you want to sit in the orchestra.

re: GYPSY seat question

I sat in row A when i saw the show, and all though the stage is high, it isn't as high as people make it sound. I loved those seats and i'll tell you if you get those seats you will not miss a thing and you'll be so happy you bought them. I loved being that close to Patti and the cast, you get more into the show.

re: GYPSY seat question

Isn't the orchestra seat J17 the seat where Mama Rose pulls the patron out of to become a Toreadorable? I'm sure it's that seat.
