See how desperate he is for money? He wants to sue some people because they are presenting a not-so-inaccurate (and embarrassing) portrayal of him. There's nothing wrong with that! "Slander!"

If I wanted to give him money I would just send an envelope addressed to the Parents of Mr. Gary Coleman - cut out the middle man, ya know?

I believe that Misters Marx & Lopez originally wanted to use Gary Coleman for either a reading, a workshop or the original tv show but his expences were too high for them to cover at the time

Think about it Joshua, would you want an embarrassing portrayal of you out there? I'm I though it was hysterical, but I can see where he is coming from......

This by Michael Musto, August 11th, 2003 in the village voice:
"While we're on slightly offbeat playthings, Scott Elliot—one of the producers of the hit puppet musical Avenue Q—told me they didn't feel they had to ask kitschy wannabe politico Gary Coleman's permission to use him as a character. Elliot's right. Though the part's played with a teensy sense of ridicule, it's basically quite endearing, and at least they didn't make Gary a puppet; he's played by a real-life woman!"

"Smart! And into all those exotic mystiques -- The Kama Sutra and Chinese techniques. I hear she knows more than seventy-five. Call me tomorrow if you're still alive!"

I dont think id want to see Garry in Avenue Q. Itd be hard to sit through him trying to sing those notes. I dont know the girl on the recording but she can sing - excuse me SANG!- those songs. Gary just gets on my nerves. Did you see him on Sureal Life? when He got upset at Vanilla Ice? haha.

I'd like to see Webster playing Gary Coleman. Just a drunken thought.

The main problem with Gary playing Gary is the part is definately written for a girl and unless he went all eunuch on us, most men proberly cannot sing it (and we don't even know if Gary can even sing to begin with).
Of course having him on stage as a 'puppet' with Nat behind him... sorta like how the Actor/Puppet is down at the moment... oh that might be fun...

The other problem with Gary playing Gary is that when Gary eventually leaves, it has to deal with the fact that it used to star Gary Coleman as Gary Coleman, and now stars Not Gary Coleman as Gary Coleman.

I'm not sure what Gary means about his agent not thinking it was worth his time. I didn't realize that security guards at parking lots normally had agents.

his expenses were too high?? he is a frickin ankle biting security gurad at a mall! he should be grateful that anyone wants him for anything!
if he wants them to provide room and board, stick him in a large pet carrier at the foot of the bed in the apartment and he will be good to go. we can take him to petco and pick out a little sofa and four poster bed and everything!

When you wind up on Surreal Life, it's over.
There's always room for pathos - and jazz hands.
