Garry Coleman's thoughts on Avenue Q?

I'm just curious, what were his thoughts? Surely there has been an article or something since then. How did he feel about "being" a character in a musical?

WHAT ARE YOU BLIND?!

"I just can't afford to fly to NY because my parents done stole my money!"

I think they also took the money he made from The Simpsons and, of course, he lost all his money trying to run for Governor.

He could auction himself off on eBay with the stipulation that the winner must take him to NYC to see AVE Q so he can see it for himself..oh and a booster seat must be provided as well.

he could mail himself COD...I mean really what would the reciever be out $15-$20? As for the ticket? Hide him under your shirt and pretend to be pregnant. Problem solved

Poor Gary Coleman. Did you ever see on VH1 or E! when he went on 2 blind dates, and one kept calling him a little toy, and the other literally, ran away from him when he dropped her off at home, trying to avoid a goodnight kiss.

Or tell him to dress up in the overall's that the character wears on stage and just go backstage, he is himself, so they'll let him in!

He can't sue. They are using his image. They are using someone who is obviously NOT Gary Coleman. Now if he copyrights his name then he may have some ground to stand on, but I doubt it since they were using it before he copyrighted it.

He can sue...doesn't mean he will win.

Not many people know this:

Mel Brooks did not actualy make up the scene in his movie History of the World Part I when Moses comes down from the mountain and bodly states, "I have these 15," drops a set of 5, "10 commandments." Turns out there were 15. The 15th we have discovered states, "Thou shall sue whomever thou wanteth to sue." Of course, America adopted this commandment.

Actually, my understanding is that, when they originally pitched it as a tv show (which was its original intent), Gary wanted to play himself.
He even said he would do it onstage but they went with the obvious casting of someone so NOT Gary to avoid making the show about Gary Coleman.

Wow. He is really considering Legal action! That would be the best thing to happen to Avenue Q. The clips of "It sucks to be" would be shown on CBS, NBC, CNN, all of them.

Avenue Q ought to let him play himself for a few shows, that would be awesome.
