Who would you all like to see succeed Alex Gemignani as the Beadle when he leaves for Les Mis?
I'd personally like to see Ben Eakeley bumped up to do the role full-time...

Just the idea of him being replaced upsets me. I wish he could be in two shows at once!

Posted: 7/12/06 at 9:37pmThe problem with bumping up Ben Eakeley is that they'd have to find someone else to cover Anthony, the Beadle, and Tobias. It might be easier to bring in someone new.

Posted: 7/13/06 at 12:11amI don't think GYPSY1527 mentioned this in the other thread about Tuesday's talkback, but I believe Elisa mentioned they are fixed on replacing Alex with another actor who also plays trumpet and keyboard so the instrumentation won't change. It'll be interesting to see who they cast.
