re: Georgyyy???

So is there just no literature/relics of this show? And has Carole Bayer Sager or anyone reused any of the songs? I'm especially interested in hearing the score

re: Georgyyy???

There's a partially recorded studio album that I hope is finished someday. There are some really swinging orchestrations by the great Eddie Sauter and I like several of the songs, including "Howjadoo?" "A Baby Mrs. Jones" and "That's How It Is".
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.

I think the title role may have been played by Dilys Watling who later played the Beggar Woman in the original London production of Sweeney Todd.

Ohhh I had always seen the cast list and thought Dilys Watling sounded familiar and now I know why- I'm a huge Sweeney Buff. Smaxie, how did you get to hear said songs? I hate when a shows music is just beyond your reach... ugh hahaha
