Germann, Pyle flying into BOEING

Per ATC, Greg Germann and Missy Pyle will replace Bradley Whitford and Mary McCormack in BOEING-BOEING when they depart on Sept. 7.

Missi Pyle is one of my favorite film actresses, in the oft-overlooked supporting work that she does. Fabulous choice to replace McCormack.

The OP said, September 7th.

I love Greg Germann, he was hilarious on ALLY MCBEAL. I can definitely see him in Bradley Whitford's role.
Pyle has a funny face, I guess I can more or less see her being funny in Mary McCormick's role.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"

Other people on ATC are claiming that Paige Davis is telling people she is joining the cast in a few weeks, while Jessica Bogart was apparently spotted in the mezzanine last night mouthing lines along with a script.

Are Gina Gershon and Kathryn Hahn leaving as well? My guess is that Davis would play Gabriella and Bogart would play Gloria, assuming these rumors are true.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Good for them. I never thought the play woudl last long enough to justify a cast change.

Congrats to them, and Matt Bogart needs to get back on Broadway! I love his solo CD!

Ahh, well that explains the name change then doesn't it.

I really hope its not her going into the show though, i'm not a fan.

Kathryn Hann is the best thing about this play. I'd see it without Whitford and McCormack, not sure I'd see it without brilliant Hann.

I shall have to see the show once more before the 7th and then again to see Pyle and Germann. I like both of those casting choices. I think Pyle was just on McCormack's show In Plain Sight a few weeks ago, oddly enough.

You are right frogs_fan85:

Mary was protecting Pyle's character, a witness who was less than anonomous in witness protection. This was the best episode of the series until the last two for me.

I am thrilled about Missy Pyle as Gretchen. Anybody who has seen her absolutely insane portrayal of Fran in Dodgeball knows she's perfect for this role.

I am definitely going back to see this show.

Speaking of the other casting rumors: Jessica Bogart and Paige Davis, I can easily see Davis as Gabriella and Bogart as Gloria. Assuming that Gershon and Hahn are leaving soon too.
