I've just had an email saying that Ms Charlotte Church is well into talks to make her West End debut in a musical next spring!!!!!!!!!

Prefer her to Miss Holden in the West End any day! Though, if this is for Wizard of Oz, seeing as she already has a connection, I'd much prefer Scarlett Strallen, as was rumoured.

Never thought of that one.
Would be that or a new one?

I could actually see her as Paulette in Legally Blonde as well. She has the right quality about her, and her voice would suit the score a lot better that Jill Halfpenny. I'm not saying I know anything, 'cos I don't, just offering a suggestion...

No of course not, my mind is boggling here too.
If its true it could be anything and with her status she really could choose what she wants!

Yeah, she's really picked herself up after her ladette phase! She has a new album out soon as well. How far away from full production is Bridget Jones? Although we don't know any of the material, she's a bit of a Bridget Jones type!

I don't think Bridget Jones will be ready by Spring. And I wouldn't be surprised if Sheridan Smith got it..

I thought that this would be a thread announcing a new production of My Fair Lady when I saw it! I wouldn't like to see her as Eliza though... And with Bridget Jones, the cast they assembled for the workshop sounded perfect, and I think Sheridan's a dead cert for it anyway, what with jokes about it on The One Show and the like...

I think Sheridan is a dead cert for Bridget Jones - especially as Sonia Friedman is producing too!
Could be Oz, but I can't think of a role she could play.
Spring? Thinking of what is in-coming I can't think of a role...
Maybe she is going into Chicago
