This was brought to attention via a post on ATC:
"According to the folks on the Imus in the Morning radio show, Rob was admitted to St. Vincent's last week after a blood clot from his leg traveled through his heart to his lung. He survived, amazingly."
Hope he gets well soon!

get well Soon!!
Oh no, how terrible! I hope he get's better and is back on his feet, he's such a fun man to watch onstage!
I think he's doing well and responding to treatment. The other morning they were talking to his pal Warner Wolf, who said that when he went to visit him, he found out from the nurses that he was using all of his various voices (f you listen to Imus, you know Rob does voice impressions) when they would speak to him.
Wow, I hope he gets well soon. I grew up listening to his many voices on Imus.

That is a very serious condition, and he is quite lucky to have survived it. I wish him a full recovery...not necessarily "speedy" though. Take your time and get all better, Rob!
Get better soon, Rob! :)
I hope he recovers, but like Ms. Pennywise said, not too quickly!
