I am a big fan of Eden Espinosa. I want to get a window card (poster, 22 X 14) signed by her. She is currently performing in Wicked playing in Los Angeles.
I have some questions about mailing items to Los Angeles.
1. If I send the poster to the Pantages Theatre and ask for an autograph, will I get the poster signed?
2. What is the address in order to get souvenirs signed by Wicked cast members in Los Angeles?
3. Do I need to provide a return evelope for the poster as well if I get the poster signed? Does the theatre staff provide shipping materials and mail the poster back to me? Would the theatre go through all that trouble just to send me a oversized item (poster)?
4. Has anyone sent a poster and got it back signed?

Didn't you just ask this in the "Who have you gotten stuff back from" thread?

Sending anything never guarantees a reply. Chances are, a poster would get ruined in the mail. You'd have to supply the return shipping box - the theater does not supply it.
You're looking at a very expensive deal.

I was planning to use stay flat envelopes that are sold in staples. I plan to use two envelopes. The envelopes do not bend.

Well there's still no guarantee that you'd even get it back.
I hear she eats all window cards sent to her.
How does one "prepay" for the return shipping box? Thats a lot of stamps.
Eden is typically good with mail.
Where are you trying to get it sent back to?

I plan to send it back to my home in Maryland.
I can just go to the post office and affix the estimated postage on the inner envelope.
Like everyone else has said, it's kind of risky and there is no guarantee without actually being at the door yourself... check your PM's and let me know if I can help in any way.

My suggestion would be to not do it. It's a little too risky. There's the possiblility of it getting lost in mail, bent/ripped or her not replying and then you never getting the poster back.
On another hand though, if she realizes it's that big and not just a small letter asking for a picture autograph, then you might have a strong chance of getting it back.
It's risky, you'd have to take a chance.
