I'm purging a lot of my possessions and have a collection of Playbills. 300+ from Broadway and off-Broadway productions ranging from 2010-2019. All mostly OBCs. There might be one or two Opening Night ones. Anyone interested in acquiring it? I'm looking to get rid of ALL of them at once. You'd have to pick them up from a Manhattan location. Some are in binders, some in small boxes. Everything is placed into one large (and heavy!) printer box. Commutable via subway if you use a dolly, otherwise a car is better.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
