I saw this Monday night and agree with the other comments on here. I ended up loving it but it took a good 30min for me to get into it. I didn't find the 2 new songs to be that exciting or necessary but I'll listen to them again when the album releases. I liked the reprises and lyric updates we got as well. I visited The Wicked Experience at Universal Orlando a few months ago and some of the props from this movie were already on display there. I didn't realize it at the time thoug

They announced it last year at the D23 Expo and even had Samantha Barks there performing. But it's great to have a confirmed date. I am looking forward to watching.

I live outside the city but was fortunate to have been in the city for a matinee today. Between matinee Acts and during dinner, we kept checking for an update until I finally got the email at 5:30. We were about to walk over to the box office when the email came through first. Had I been home, I would have been traveling on the train at 5:30 to see the show so would have been out the $30 train fare. I like Christy too but I feel like she would have been cast for this a long time ago if they wanted her.
I'd still like to see Allie Trimm get a turn as Glinda. And Julie Benko as Elphaba.
Jordan has had a longer run than recent Fiyeros so will be interesting to see if he extends again.

I got lucky and was able to attend the first preview of this last week. Michael Arden and Tinashe Kajese-Bolden introduced the show and welcomed everyone. I missed Loretta Devine at City Center last year so I was really happy to see her live. I thought the show overall was strong with a great cast but also needed a bit of work. First preview clocked in at around 3 hours. I am sure they've made changes between then and now though.

I was also at the matinee yesterday. I was seated in the rear East Orchestra on the aisle, 2-3 rows from the rear. I paid $99 + fees when tickets first went on sale and I thought the view was perfect. There were a couple of times during the show when the ensemble was in the aisle so I guess that might be what they consider immersive in addition to the interactions with the tables. Sally also interacts with the front of the West Mezzanine when she is first introduced,

Saw this last night and just took advantage of the sale to buy another ticket for next week. Ross Lekites as Bobby was incredible. Looking forward to seeing Corey next week. Such a fun show that isn't getting a lot of love.
