Please forgive me, but I had a nightmare....something about Glenn Close being cast in a movie where actual talented singing is involved. Susan Boyle is a worthy subject for a biopic...but PUHLEEZE... Glenn Close? There are many, many, many others who are far, far worthier to cast. What's the matter, Oliver Platt wasn't available? from RC in Austin, tExas.... NYC from March 15-18, 2011... (Seeing: Wicked (KDM..swoon), Priscilla (Team Nick), Chicago (JPS...swoon) and Lombardi.

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

Christ, guys, I don't think she deserves a biopic either, but all the comments about her doing nothing but eating frosting and so on are pretty much the reason she's getting one in the first place. The reason people are into her is because she's someone society crapped on for her whole life due to her looks, demeanor, etc. until she struck it big with this "amazing" hidden talent. That's why people root for her and will watch the movie. Everytime you toss off a pointlessly nasty comment about her you become part of the reason she's a star.
