umm... weird but brilliant casting if it actually happens.

Would have never thought of her but that could work.
Ok
I'll probably see it because I love my cruella de ville so much
Oscar for best make-up.

The Susan Boyle fad isn't over yet? She's not even THAT talented to warrant this attention she's getting. Have her play Mme. Thenardier and let her fame die already....
She hasn't got the eyebrows for the role.
This comment made me laugh:
"I'm not convinced Glenn will do Susan justice either."
Okay...what exactly has Susan Boyle done to deserve a bloody biopic??

I cannot believe they are making a bio pic about Susan Boyle! However they must casting Glen Close makes me laugh... a lot!
"Glenn has played some imposing women in the past including Alex Forrest, who boils the pet rabbit in 'Fatal Attraction'. But this might just be her biggest role yet."
In my opinion, I don't think so. At least not for me but then I am not a Boyle fan. I will re-watch her boil the rabbit before I see this movie.

Was Kathy Bates unavailable?
I think Glenn might finally get her Oscar if she does this. Glenn can do anything.
To answer the question of what has Susan Boyle done?
Well, I am not a fan of hers by any means.
But she became an overnight web sensation and sold millions of records worldwide.
Didn't Susan Boyle spend the majority of her life eating frosting and hoarding cats before she got famous last year? Is there really enough to make a movie?
I was thinking the same thing, Jordan. Her life was pretty dull up till last year.
Jordan, she hoarded cats, ate frosting and diddled to pictures of Tab Hunter from 1950-you forgot the third and most important part of the bio-pic.
Are you kidding me with this? The woman has an ok voice, can barely show up to a concert and has meltdowns weekly. She's got a huge nest egg, can she please go away now and save her appearances for telethons and cat shows. Her album is among the most sleep inducing debuts I have ever heard. Yuck.
Glenn is way better than this material. This is Sally Struthers Lifetime movie territory.

I'd rather watch a biopic of that new golden voice ex-homeless voiceover man.

"The woman has an ok voice, can barely show up to a concert and has meltdowns weekly."
Sounds like something I'd watch, actually. As long as it doesn't play like an extended, glammed-up press reel, and actually explores the mental anguish of a middle-aged woman with little-to-no prospects thrust into the national spotlight, it could work...
I would expect mean spirited posts like this on Perez Hilton! Come on you guys/gals! They didn't say if it was TV or not. TV does biopics all the time.
Susan Boyle has had a very hard life, overcame the odds to become an overnight sensation! She has a good, strong voice and has inspired many people to go for their dreams and hope! Isn't that what Broadway is all about?
That being said Glenn is totally wrong!!!
If Glenn is unavailable...

OVERNIGHT SENSATION! would make a great title.
Starring Meredith Baxter in he triumphant return to television. Premiers April 1st, only on Lifetime.
"This is Sally Struthers Lifetime movie territory."
As a friend of Ms. Struthers, I find that slightly offensive.
Sally doesn't do Lifetime movies. :P
