One of the very few times that I wished I lived in LA.
If anyone goes - please report back to us unlucky ones who have to miss out on this.
I really, really miss Speech and Debate.
Man!
Who wants to take a field trip to L.A.?
Not only am I madly in love with SPEECH & DEBATE, but Bobby Steggert now too?!
Ahh!
Too glorious for words.
L.A. people: SEE THIS!

Amazing show AND gorgeous cast.
Can't get much better.
Now, if only I didn't live on the opposite side of the country.
I wonder how Andrea will do. She's a very talented actress, but Sarah Steele was so absolutely brilliant in the role, it'll be hard for anyone to compare!
Haha ew. DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES
I LOVE SPEECH & DEBATE, but only Sarah Steele should be allowed to play Diwata. Andrea Bowen doesn't look 1/8 Filipino..They're gonna have to change that to 1/32 Filipino.
Oh, how I love this show. I wish I could have seen it more than once. Sarah Steele as Diwata was the singular best female performace I've seen to date. I'm not sure if Andrea Bowen can pull it off.
At least Bowen has stage experience.

Sarah Steele was truly amazing- I hope her not joining this production was her decision, as opposed to the producers thinking she isn't "name" enough to play LA.

I'll hopefully be seeing this. I'll report back!
I'm sure it was probably Sarah's choice to not go. If they cast Gideon, I'd assume that they also asked Jason and Sarah. Perhaps Sarah didn't want to leave school for that period of time - especially since it'll probably be close to finals for her. Ditto with Jason - I think he's graduating around that time as well.

Anyone else think the casting of Steggert is strange? He can nerd it up a little, I'm sure, he just wouldn't be where my mind went for the role...
I'll see Steggert in anything. He was magnificent in 110 IN THE SHADE and YANK!
I have no doubt he'll make a fine Solomon.
But I agree regarding it being nearly impossible to top Sarah Steele's MARVELOUS performance.
I want this show to play Broadway with its original cast.

Fantastic! And just a bit unfair. Why just 5 performances? And yeah, graduation festivities etc. probably prevented Jason from going.
