Gods Of carnage - rear mezz

Playbill are offering a discount on this for the rear mezz- and I really would like to see it, but as we've spent a small fortune of tickets recently, I was wondering if its worth taking advantage of this offer.

Rear Mezz - does anyone have experience of these seats at the theater? Obviously I know its somewhat far back, but would it detract much from the performance?

any thoughts would be appreciated.

I had rear mezz seats at Mary Stuart and saw everything. I would suggest putting new contacts in if applicable.

Believe Mary Stuart was at the Broadhurst but Carnage is at the Golden or whatever it is called now.

I saw God of Carnage from the rear mezz and the view was just fine. I also saw it from standing room, though, and preferred that; if you're able to stand for 90 minutes, that's what I'd recommend. But I didn't mind the view from the rear mezz.

Thanks for clearing that up, Mr. Roxy, because I was under the impression I went to the same theatre twice in one week and saw two completely different shows.

I've haven't seen God of Carnage but I sat in the rear mezz for 13 in the same theater and it was fine.
