Don't know if anyone has seen this yet, but beginning today, advance sales for Godspell begin with AMEX - don't think it's Gold Card only.

So far it's only for Gold Card Members
I will wait for TDF for this one! Sure it will be there! with A TALES OF TWO CITIES! Most new shows during previews are on TDf with the exeptions of BILLY ELLIOT, EQUUS & SHREK and of course shows with big name stars!

They are now onsale for all AMEX card holders.
Seems if you want a weekend evening, you have to take Row L. If you want weekend matinee, you can get Row A or Row K. No in between.
FYI- I sat on the REAR MEZZ for COMPANY and it was a decent seat. The Barrymore Theater is an intimate theater. I think I paid around $30.00 a tix!
I'll wait for TDF!

"I'll wait for TDF!"
I wish I could, but I had to buy for a friend's birthday.
Well, and as has also been evident in threads about other shows, the pre-sale doesn't always give the best seats.
For Saturday, October 11 matinee I got row C left orchestra on the left center aisle.
Amex presales are definitely strange - using my gold card number row K center for 11/1 matinee came up. I then tried the regular Amex link (no gold card cs# required) and I got row b center - I took row b! :)
And I agree with jordangirl - when I've waited a week or 3, I seem to get better seats - go figure.

Would there be any difference in seeing "Godspell" in preview than after opening night?
