I have nearly finished the season and am addicted. I am so happy a show about prisoners on the level of Oz (though lighter and more comedic) is back on television.

I met Natasha Lyonne at two shows with Carole Kane this season and am excited she's working again.

I'm through four episodes and really enjoying it so far. Sometimes the best praise you can give a show like this is that it is so easy to watch; the world Jenji and the other writers have created is wonderfully detailed and richly observed, and this ensemble of amazing women is a blessing.

Also, it's worth pointing out to beautywickedlover that of the regulars, Biggs' story is (to where I've gotten at least) easily the least essential and most decentralized of the show. It's very easy to enjoy the show and forget he's there, if you are unable to separate an artist from the art (which I hope you aren't, as it's a pretty stark affliction if you have it.)

Also, I can't resist: calling George Carlin "a raunchy and controversial comedian" is kind of damning with faint praise. The man was a legend, one of the most prolific, profane (sure, if you can't see the linguistic forest for the trees) and most of all profound comics since the art form began.

Great cast!! So may amazing theater actors - maria dizzia, annie golden, elizabeth rodriguez, michael chernus, pablo schreiber, etc etc etc.
