3 Xs this wkend. Learned music for a new show. Everytime I took a break & turned on the tv (which was 3 X's) HTLAGI10D was on & I was compelled to watch it. Talk about meeting cute, cute story, cute ending, now, obviously I'd go see THIS musical.

A pitty Matthew McConaughey's & Kate Hudson's singing aren't up to snuff. I could possibly see Stephen Lynch in McConaughy's role, but can't figure out who to take Hudson's part. Of course Bebe Neuwirth could reprise her role.

Its still a favorite of mine. I think it could do well as a musical, if reworked just a bit.

I'd love to see how MSG is on a Broadway Stage...

Such a mediocre film. There have got to be better movies out there to musicalize than this one.

Obviously I disagree w/any characterization of this film as being mediocre since I watched it 3 x's in 1 wkend in a time when I'm in a time crunch. But I do grant 'to ea. his own.' Those who don't like the film do n't have to see its musicalization.

both are based on "Taming of the Shrew".
