Everyone in here saying "more stunt casting", "the producers didn't try", "Laura Benanti"...I don't think truly grasp how difficult it is to find female actors, with name recognition, that not only CAN do this, but would WANT to. I am sure every name thrown out from Benanti to Sherie to Scherzinger (who originated Viola in workshops) were approached. But said actors must WANT to do the job, and it is NOT an easy job to take on. Don't forget Megan Hilty, of all actors probably one of the best ...

I loved this in both Chicago and DC. It's a lot of fun. Will return to see it on Broadway.

I loved Paddington and I loved this cast. But I doubt we’ll see many of the cast transfer, outside of Hameed and Shah.

I think it's way too early to tell, although it seems pretty clear Levy and Michele are locks for nominations.I also think it's very likely Marla Mindelle and (especially) Sara Chase will shift the conversation in a really exciting way.
