^ Haha, yes. Can't forget the luck that brought Sherie back for more!!
It really was the best new Broadway musical last year. I think I will be forever shocked that it lost the Best Book Tony. (But I think it all reinforced that the awards are meaningless.) So glad I got to see this amazing show. I hope Sherie is back soon.

Is anybody seeing the final performance today?

Posted: 7/11/10 at 2:20pmCongratulations on a nice run. It truly was the best new musical of the season, and Ms. Scott, the true "best actress in a musical" this year!

Posted: 7/11/10 at 3:24pmThanks to Sherie and crew for giving us a goofy, thoughtful show that makes us think big thoughts, appreciate little moments, and truly understand Mr. Rodgers as a gift to spirituality.

Posted: 7/11/10 at 6:45pmI agree that this was quite possibly the best musical of the season! Though I'm so thankful I got to see it twice I really wish I had gotten to see it more! Goodbye to an incredible show with a phenomenal cast and orchestra! You will be terribly missed!

Such an incredible piece of theatre.
After the Curtain Call today the cast all held hands and sang "Give Me Love" (one of the bonus songs on the album, and originally in the off broadway version). Then Sherie thanked 'Everyone" , "Roundabout" and said, "Remember, Broadway IS love!"
It was very sweet.
ALSO: On today's article on playbill.com: "There are discussions about a possible tour for fall 2011-12, Playbill.com has learned."
fingers crossed.

I'm deeply saddened I missed this piece of theatre which I've only heard great things about.

Posted: 7/11/10 at 7:21pmThis was certainly the Best Musical of the season and one of the best pieces of theatre I have seen on Broadway in a long time. I am so grateful I was able to see this production before it closed. I am hoping this will inspire a new breed of inventive theatrical productions that truly have heart.

I was lucky enough to see this show six times, including one off-broadway performance and I have to say I will miss it. Of all the new musicals this season (on broadway), it is the only one that really made me care for someone onstage. It deserved to win best book, and to have a healthier run that it did. Still, I am thrilled for Sherie that it did make it to Broadway.
I loved the addition of "Give me Love" today, and Sherie's speech at the curtain call. She sounded very sincere. There were a few nice touches throughout the show, for instance Sherie holding the Menonette's hands during "Up the Ladder", and a good deal more acknowledgment of the audience.
I can also say that she was extremely nice at the stage door, something that I know has not been everyone's experience. Everyone in the cast was very sweet, and made for a great stage door experience.
I will share one other funny thing that happened last Saturday night at the show. During the magic section of the show, Sherie's jacket got caught on her suitcase. There was a good minute or so of her pulling to get it out. After she did, she turned to the audience, still in character and said, "Magic!"

Aw, I loved this show. So glad I was able to see it. Like others have said, it was definitely my favorite show of the season!
Sounds like it was a great performance today, so sad I missed it!

This show really was a treasure on stage. I'm going to miss it so much.
When I saw the show Sherie accidently spit while talking the YouTube scene. When I met her, I told her I saw it happen and she was so embarrassed. She got more embarrassed when I told her I was in row J. I still love her! :)

How nice of you to bring that up to her. Is it any wonder actors hate stage-dooring?
Is the rumor true about Mullally doing the tour of this?
Goodbye, EVERYDAY RAPTURE#17
Posted: 7/12/10 at 12:06amShe actually brought it up first when I met her bakstage, not the stage door. And she was very nice to me AND the stage door visitors.

Posted: 7/12/10 at 1:01amIt would be ironic if Megan Mullally replaced Sherie in this show since Sherie replaced Megan in Grease. Especially ironic since Sherie replaced Idina in Rent and Idina replaced Sherie in Aida. Who will Sherie swap roles with next....
