Goodspeed Musicals Pauses Productions at the Terris Theatre

This news on the heels of the Williamstown Theater Festival 2026 pause is quite disheartening.  

Can I scream a plea into the stratosphere that musical theater is a classic American art form that I would like to see not only survive but thrive?  Lately I have noticed that more of the articles that I am reading about new musicals are ones coming from the UK. I wish I had millions of dollars to donate to our American incubators of musical theater.
