Hey, All!
As has been reported here (and elsewhere) previously, Goold's conceptualized production of MACBETH airs as part of PBS "Great Performances" series tonight.
As an aside, Amazon.com has the DVD ready for pre-order, to be released - as of now - on January 11, 2011.
Enjoy!
Best,
- Mike

I wish our PBS affiliate (GPB) would air this, but alas, they are not. Not the first time they don't play a Great Performances episode. Hope everyone else gets to enjoy it, though!
Anyway, the dvd is also available on the pbs shop site, too. It says it will ship 10/19/10.

I watched it last nite, and I had forgotten just how amazing it was
I loved it on Broadway, and I was just as blown away this time
The scene of Banquo striding down the table was as breathtaking as I remembered
And the sandwich scene was more striking in the film, I thought
After, they aired a little interview with Patrick Stewart, and he told a story about Ian McKellan telling him that 'AND' is the most important word in 'Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow...'
I'll never hear that line the same again
I can't wait to get the dvd

Posted: 10/7/10 at 3:23pmSaw the show on Broadway before I had read the play, and now that I have read it (and become a HUGE fan of the play), I can't wait to see it on screen. Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow.
