Donna Murphy & Patti LuPone Headed To Broadway Together?

Is Bullets coming next season? (spring 2014?) Do they have a theatre and are they going to try-out somewhere? I have not heard anything about it.
3 Horse Races

Paul Revere.
Drama League Award Winners Are...

Could Lane win the Tony for this now? Typically (but not always) the Drama League winner wins in his/her respective category at the Tonys. Seems now to be a 3-way race between Letts, Lane, and Hanks.
Why don't original cast members of a broadway show go on tour anymore?

Is it safe to assume that most tour stops were longer back in the old days (5-8 weeks as opposed to a week or so), and the shows themselves ran for shorter lengths of time (with more time in between each city)?
James Lapine and INTO THE WOODS

He's got DeLuca and Marshall and Disney and other film pro's working with him on this - I'm sure he knws what he's doing. And, he has Sondheim.
Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 5/5/13

LCT is an associate producer on it, and they are also the theatre owner. It's a placeholder show until they can get a big show of their own together. Operating costs are very low, so I'm sure they aren't losing money on it.
The Little Mermaid cast Papermill

^ easier said than done, but I hope for the best!
Kennedy Center

Mr. York had a stroke recently, if I recall?

Was there dancing? Or did they just sing/play the big numbers?

And only 4 days of rehearsal??!

Scott Rudin disses Patrick Healy in the Times

Do share more about the Rudin/Sondheim debacle?? First I've heard of this.

As an actor, whose career would you want to emulate?

I always admire the career progression of someone like Donna Murphy: Starting in the chorus/as an understudy, then replacing a principal, then getting a big break and successful jobs, and then moving on to some TV/film while still staying active in theater.
PIPPIN is the Most Nominated Show of the Year

There was some drama between Starcatcher and Salesman last year but I forget what it was alll about.
Breaking News: Tony Awards Committee Decides Eligibility on Slew of Shows, Matilda Girls NOT Eligible for Best Actress But Recognized

Lane is billed alphabetically below the title for THE NANCE.
Emma Stone In Talks for Cabaret Revival

I'm more interested in their choices for Cliff, Schultz, and Schneider. Any insight?
When was the last time a Broadway star became a film star?

Broderick did Torch Song the year before before War Games.

Bernadette Peters? SHe had a lot of success in the 80s.

Krakowski and Hilty?

Are we ruling out Finneran?

She could probably get a nom but it will be tough for her to win.
How did Harvey Fierstein win Lead Actor in 2003?

In comparison to Latessa, Morrison, and Thorell, Harvey was definitely a lead.
Jane Lynch sings Little Girls

She sounded pretty good on SNL. Much worse singers have played Hannigan. It's a comedic acting part.
PIPPIN tops the Outer Critics Circle nominees with 11 nods

Remember that time Young Frank swept the OCC's?
One Man Othello coming to Broadway
