While we are kind of on the topic of discounted tickets, does anybody know or think Sweet Charity will release a discount. I want to get tickets but I hate finding a discount RIGHT after I buy full price tickets and I don't want that to happen. Thanks.

But the shubert in Chicago is teeny weeny compared to the Shubert in NYC. In fact, Id expect many set pieces have to be scaled up for the NY production. The french knight's castle always seemed too short to me. IN the movie, what made that scene funny visually is that you had all these insults coming from a tiny spec atop a tower. Here, he is far too close to Arthur and the knights. Hopefully everything will be a bit larger in scale.

The only problem I had with seating in the Schubert in Chicago (and could potentially be a problem in NYC) was my seat for the second act. Jarico and I had two single seats and switched at intermission. The orchestra seat was to the far side in the third row. The set design from that vantage point blocked most of the view of the stage. I could only see about three feet into the stage and into the upstage corner and that was it. Most of the sets and scenes occur dead center at least halfway back and I had to be content with just hearing the lines without seeing what was actually happening. I strongly advise choosing any seat closer to center even if it is farther back if you want to sit in the orchestra.
