Enjoy! (mine are for June---for the same reason--slim pickins). One of my pet peeves is what they're doing with the ticket sales for this show (and others). They withhold the first 10 or 11 rows, center orchestra, and charge double the price. (Those tickets are available for spamalot for over $200 "premium" prices!).
You'll have a great time, regardless of your seat! :) Congrats on getting seats at all.
Enjoy the show. I saw the preview in Chicago and it was hysterical.
I'm bummed about the "premium" tickets also.. they are holding a lot back.. I couldnt get a decent weekend till early July!!
Can't wait! I'm going to try to get some tix for my birthday in March.
better get em now before the reviews come out :)
this is starting to look like the mega hit of the season like Producers, Hairspray, and Wicked
Yeah, but all those shows always released their house seats the day of. Don't see why Spamalot should be any different.
I'm also going March 16, evening though. Last row in the orchestra.
Last report I heard here in Chicago was that Burn Her (witch-burning song) was cut. No big loss there, but the first act now only clocks in around 50 minutes. Obviously, they'll be throwing in some new stuff. I just hope it's the spanking maidens.
Have fun! Tell us what you think about it!

They HAVE to add new stuff, because without "Burn Her", they've gotten rid of Sir Bedevere's introduction, and while they COULD have him come out of nowhere, it would kind of suck. They'll probably (hopefully?) add something for him.
I think it would be hysterical if the spanking maidens got their own number, though.
Have fun, Benzy!! (And everyone else going!)
I was going to wait for house seats to be released but wasnt going to take a chance with it being such a huge hit, Wicked is hard to get last minute tickets to sometimes.. I'm waiting for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels to release their house seats.
I got mine too!
I'm going April 23rd. So happy!
Ha, March 16th is my mom's birthday!
Anyway, you'll have a great time no matter where you're sitting (I had really bad seats for the previews). Its a really entertaining show. I really hope that it is the hit of the season!
Wow, they cut burn her? Not entirely shocking. In the least. And no loss felt. They'll have to add something... that'll be interesting!

I got my seat by phone and not through the online site, and I did land Row B-101 for a Friday performance in May at regular price ( I reconfirmed this with Telecharge - Customer Service as I thought the price might be a mistake). The other pair I bought for that same performance for other people were already Row K but close to the wall. Does it help if you are only looking for a single seat?
any ticket deals yet? i'm holding out but i really want to see it!!!
singles are much easier than 2, nonetheless 4 which i needed.. B101 will be amazing!!
There will be no discounts for this show. It already has a 8 million advance I read? Or maybe it was more?
I'll be there March 11th, front and center

There won't be any discounts for Spamalot for a VERY long time (think years). This is the hottest ticket since The Producers (which also didn't offer discounts until fairly recently) with an advance already in $15 million range. When I bought tickets at the box office a month and a half ago (I got 8th row for the third week of February), I overheard people in front of me going through every Friday and Saturday date for months and finding everything soldout already. At this point, I'm hearing that there are few if any decent seats available for the next two or three months. There's no reason for the producers of the show to offer discounts.
I believe there is rush you can try for (and forget TKTS for a few years), but otherwise, you should save up your ducats and grab full price seats now or as soon as you can, if you want to see the show.
Margo, didnt Producers have discounts during previews.. I can remember getting $55 dollar tickets for previews.. row E towards the right..
Sometimes shows MIGHT put discounts on during previews...not sure about this show.
Enjoy the shubbery. I am green, absolutely green.
Mine are in April and I'm the balcony (or the second mezzanine, whatever you want to call it). Hopefully the people onstage will look like more than a few little dots...

TDB, I sat in the top right balcony in Chicago (I think we were maybe six rows from the very back row, and one of the people I was with was close to a post) and we could see everything well enough :)
