Hey! My friend is auditioning for Grease and wants to be Sandy. What would be a good audition song?

Pick just about any girl song from the 50s or 60s like It's My Party, Heat Wave, or I Know a Place and go out there and sell it for all its worth.
To be frank, if she knows she right for it - just sing "Hopelessly Devoted To You" since it's not generally a part of the stage version.
*If it's specifically Sandy she wants that's what I say...but if she's open to being considered for other roles then sing a 50s tune - they could then view her in many different ways.
They just announced next year's season....my senior sem (the show that is picked for the seniors as their final project)is Grease. I'm Sandy. I'm in College...honestly? Grease?! w/e.
Ok, off-topic.
Sing something cute and sweet. Pick anything that shows how adorable you are. if you get to sing a contrasting do a sexier song.

Where is she auditioning? Professional? Non? Community? High School?
