I don't know. I'M ON THE WEST COAST AND WE DON'T MATTER.
P.S. There is no apostrophe in Tonys.

re: Grease Production Number on the Tony Awards#10
Posted: 6/15/08 at 10:36pmThat's funny. I thought Max did well and Laura was really off key.
re: Grease Production Number on the Tony Awards#11
Posted: 6/15/08 at 10:39pmLaura wasn't really offkey but was singing in a lower register than she normally does. In the regular show her and Max are not part of that number.

Posted: 6/15/08 at 11:11pmI just wish they did a better combination of numbers. Or like a mega-mix of lots of numbers...
re: Grease Production Number on the Tony Awards#13
Posted: 6/15/08 at 11:12pmDreadful, just like the rest of that horrendous revival.

re: Grease Production Number on the Tony Awards#17
Posted: 6/15/08 at 11:59pmI just felt embarrassed for Kathleen Marshall. That choreography was...embarrassingly bad. It wasn't good, wasn't bad, it was alright.

Posted: 6/16/08 at 12:01amAs I mentioned on another thread I've seen probably half a dozen high school productions of Grease. All but one of them as I recall had more real energy and a sense of fun that this number. This was like a group of robots programmed to move, sing, and smile.

Posted: 6/16/08 at 12:01amit was mediocre...like a good high school show. and the vocals were not the least bit stunning

I'm biased because I HATE this show...
But I thought the principals were decent enough, not as much energy as they should have, but when the ensemble came in, they were a bunch of robots that brought the energy level down further, which was disappointing.

Posted: 6/16/08 at 12:07amIt didn't start off good, but it didn't end all that bad. The choreography was fine.
