So dumb question, probably.
I was watching "you're the one that we want" last night, and afterwards thought, maybe I'll give my broadway cast revival recording a listen. Now I knew that a lot of the big famous numbers like "you're the one that I want" weren't in the show, but "Hopelessly devoted" and "Sandy" weren't in the show either? Having only seen the movie, I was left not knowing any songs on the cast recording

You didn't know ANY of the songs?

We Go Together?
Summer Nights?
Greased Lightning?
Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee?
Born to Hand Jive?
Beauty School Dropout?
There are Worse Things I Could Do?
Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee (reprise)?

I believe they're all in the film, with the possible exception of "Jand Jive." I haven't seen it in years.

"Hopelessly Devoted to You" was written specifically for Olivia Newton-John, I believe. Anyway, "Born to Hand Jive" is in the film during the dance. "Rock-N-Roll Party Queen" (on the original recording) is also in the film for a few seconds. Besides those and everything else munk mentioned, it's hard to believe you wouldn't know ANY of the songs.
