Grease hype?

Oh yeah, apparently that was a huge deal in the movie. Travolta wanted to use it a lot in Greased Lightning, and the movie producers were freaking out about it.

But really...that just goes over kids heads anyway.

And I agree about Those Magic Changes. I really love that song.

Katt-So agree with you. This stuff just goes over kids' heads. I guess now we as young/older adults we can say "oh the message is bad etc," but I remember watching it when I was little, and it was simply just entertaining. That's why I don't get peoples' problems with Disney shows and their "bad messages." Stop overanalyzing!!

Arghh! Grammar pet peeve #1: your vs you're. "Your" is a possessive pronoun. "You're" is the contraction of "you are." <<

I hardly think it's overanalyzing when little children (and yes, i was one too) are running around screaming lines like "a real ****-wagon" and "no **** we'll be getting lots of tits" without having the faintest clue what they're saying.

...and yes, both of those references are from Grease Lightening, however it's one of the most well known songs from the show. and the references were the first ones that came to my mind but I know that there are more.

yes the moral of the story argument might be overanalyzing it. but the book and lyrics are just inappropriate for young children.
