yes, Sutton did turns as both Rizzo AND Sandy between broadway and tour.... poor child.

Alright, I have to chime in on this lol. If done right, with good producers that dont pack their shows with celebrities, Grease can be a great show. With an established Broadway star one of the main leads (Danny or Sandy), Grease could make a lot of money. If you ask almost any child what non-animated movie with music they like, most will say Grease. Therefore, people will see the Broadway show. That's not the issue. Its the casting in the last revival that was bad. Its really not necessary to stunt cast this show, or, if you are, don't go with the people that were used last time! I'd love to see another revival of Grease, but thats because I missed the last one and its one of my favorite shows!

Hunter Foster and Kerry Butler would make a great Danny and Sandy. They're chemistry is already there from LSOH. Both of them have the perfect voices, IMO.

I don't think Rosie technically counts as stunt casting, since it was her interest in doing the show that got the whole ball rolling to begin with.

Stunt casting refers to casting a celebrity who is not up to the role in some way but will sell tickets. I think Rosie fits that description, no matter what else she had to do with the show.

Who was Jessica Stone... was she Frenchie?
