Since GC has now officially announced tour dates I'm wondering how the set will work! Anyone have any speculation or idea on how they will make it work?

I don't know, but I have enough faith in rachel Chavkin and Mimi lien that whatever they come up with will be as ingenious as the Broadway production. I could see them using those banquets they used for the tony awards and just not having the set pieces extend pass the proscenium.

the stairs up to the mezzine I think would be the hardest element to tour with I think, so unfortunately we're likely looking at losing that. Banquettes on the stage are easy, happily, as are the 'pizza slice' type tables. Sunken seats, much less so. I can see them possibly building platforms and aisles meant to go overtop of seats to preserve that, but they may just use the aisles.
Either way it will take a lot of restaging, but it's definitely possible to keep the 'feel' of the show without the exact set.

There's dates? I thought the just said they wanted to tour in 2019
