There are seats in the 1st row front mezz, but left/right of centre for $149....this might be an option. Is there much difference between these areas? Do you miss anything sitting off centre but still 1st row front mezz? Thanks...."
Yesterday I sat in the first row of the mezzanine, in the last seat all the way to audience left. It was definitely a great way to experience the show! There were a handful of times when I couldn't see the main activity on stage because it was a bit too far to the side, but this never lasted more than ten or fifteen seconds. There was one sight gag in Act Two that I missed because of this, but it wasn't anything major and my friend in the next seat could see it (and told me about it later).
In exchange for this very slightly diminished view, you get to see pretty much the entire cast passing right in front of you (including the two leads!) and get a bit of fun, non-intimidating interaction. I think it's clear that closer to the center is a little better, but only a little.
