This is a great clip about the history and importance of the musical Shuffle Along from Broadway: The American Musical narrated by Julie Andrews in 2004.
It is pretty cool that George C. Wolf is interviewed in this talking bout the importance of the musical and the history and now 12 years later he is directing it on broadway!
It is also cool to see images from the original Broadway production and interviews with the composer and pics and story of the real people that Audra,Brian, Billy and the rest of the cast will be playing! I am going to assume that the older couple in the video are the two charaters Audra and Brian will be playing when they were younger.
