re: Greg's Last DRS Show

Several people who went are congregating on the Greg Jbara love thread on the Off Topic Board. No details yet, but it sounds like a lot of people cried.

I am patiently waiting for details! (somewhat patiently..)

The show was very emotional. Greg cried as he called DRS the greatest experience in his life. Almost everyone on stage was crying.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

Ditto.

It was so emotional that I need a bit of distance before I can even post a review. What a way to say goodbye to New York.

Edit: I should specify that I'm also leaving the area, not just a crazy DRS fan.

Wow, that sounds so bittersweet. Am I gonna cry while reading these reviews? I will miss him dearly. = [

Yeah, most of the details are on the Greg love thread. Feel free to post there everyone especially today!

Can't post about that again...even if it is copy and paste

re: Greg's Last DRS Show

I saw Greg on Thursday night, and we talked for a little. I came back on Saturday night to say goodbye, and he actually started our conversation ("Marc, hey, how are you!?"). I'm extremely sad to see him go, because he just puts a smile on my face. But he's going back home to Los Angeles, and I live ten minutes away from him. He told me to look him up. I shall, Greg, I shall.

Live long and prosper, Andre.
