Hey all. I am traveling to NYC over late March and wanted to pick up tickets to see GG on the 30th. I have a couple questions, however, and I figured this would be the best place to ask. Thanks in advance for the help!
Regarding balcony seats, can you only pick these up at the Box Office on day of performance? Similarly, are these seats good? Can you see clearly? Also, because I am going over the Spring Break time frame, what do you think my chances are of picking up seats for the balcony? At TKTS?
Thanks again all!

You can see everything despite a few head cutoffs Act 2 (Entering Grey Gardens, Choose To Be Happy), but as long as you sit forward in your chair you will be able to see fine.

Great. You think I wouild have any trouble using TKTS even though it will be Spring Break? Obviously I would much prefer Orch or Mezz seats. Thanks!

Posted: 1/20/07 at 2:10pmrear mezz is better. keep in mind, the theatre is small so it has an intimate feel to it. TKTS for gg should be fine around spring break I think. I can't give you a direct answer but it HAS been up on the boards lately.

Posted: 5/2/07 at 12:15pmdoes anyone know how early we should get there for the balcony seats? i know they go on sale when the box office opens. are they limited quantity so we should arrive a few hours before the box office opens? if we rush another show and walk over after we get those tickets, do you think they'll still have balcony seats left? thanks!

I was at a Saturday matinee a few weeks ago.
The orchestra was about 2/3 full, the mezz was barely 1/4 full and the balcony was empty. I say, show up whenever. You'll get in.
