Hi guys, I am in a Broadway review group at my university and we need good ideas for group numbers that would include all of us. There are roughly 7 or 8 of us, and we will probably have more next semester.
Here are ones we have done in the past (we haven't existed for very long so there aren't a lot):
Aquarius, Let the Sunshine In, and Hair from "Hair"
Totally F*CKed and Song of Purple Summer from "Spring Awakening"
La Vie Boheme from "Rent"
96,000 from "In the Heights"
We Go Together from "Grease"
I Wish I Could Go Back to College from "Avenue Q"
Preferably nothing from Spring Awakening, Rent, or Hair, as we have done many, many songs from them including the group numbers, solos, and duets/trios/etc.
Thank you guys so much for any suggestions! ^_^
Oh, and note: The show has always been for mature audiences only, so "inappropriate" songs can definitely be included.

Those are all really interesting. ^_^ I'll have to look further into them. And as much as love Memphis and the song Radio though, I don't think that would work as a group number, because one person sings most of the time as opposed to the whole group singing.
Thank you guys! Does anyone else have any other suggestions? :)

Practically all of the musical classics have group numbers.

depending on exactly how many you have, a Charlie Brown group number could be cute.
If you can pull it off, you can do the Into the Woods Prolouge. I did it with a group of 8 and it was amazing!
Maybe the opening from Ragtime or Spelling Bee?
