Guess they plan to be around for awhile. Go to telecharge.

Care to hum a few bars? Not all of us have ample time.
for those of us out of the loop could you answer your own question.
Nothing could be sweeter than Spring Awakening in the Spring Time!!!
Spring Awakening
Just because they are selling tickets it does not mean they will still be open then. A friend of mine had tix for 'Fame Becomes Me' for the Jan 14th 2007 matinee that she purchased in advance..and I think we all know how that turned out
Cooper, Jujamacyn would probably not have allowed them to open another block of tickets if they had any qualms about their tenant's ability to pay the rent. Something must have turned. Their grosses must have jumped or their advance got much healthier. Very different from Fame Becomes Me which decided to go out on a positive note. This is a good sign for Spring Awakening.
The grosses need to come out! I'm thinking way to much about them!
educator06- Makes you feel like a Spring Chicken again, huh?
Calm down.
The grosses for the past week will be better because of the holiday, but most tkts were sold at lower prices so don't expect anything amazing.
Putting tickets on sale for March is a chance to take in some revenue at top dollar so they can sdvertise and keep the ship afloat.
Hopefully they will make the "nut" and sustain for a while.
It says on Telecharge that tickets are on sale through March 4th. Isn't that the date until which they have always been on sale?
Downer, are you implying that people would be willing to pay full price tickets in March but not Jan and Feb? Not sure I follow your logic. My guess is the reviews are converting the core theatre auds who plunk down $110 without batting an eyelash. How can they not pay attention with all the support that papers like the Times are giving them?
Besides, the week BEFORE Christmas is not a high grossing week for Broadway. People are way too busy, school break hasn't started yet, etc. My guess is many of the shows probably went down.
The only reason for caution I can see is that many shows performed on a 7 show schedule instead of the usual 8.
Yeah, I hate to burst your bubble (because I really want this show to succeed as well), but tickets have been on sale through March 4th for awhile now. They haven't added more yet...

Thats how I do all of my shows...
I don't buy ahead of time though, I almost always walk up to the theatre that day and get my ticket.

After my tickets for Little Women were null I've never bought in advance, except for Wicked because that show is never in signs of trouble.
