Posted: 1/7/09 at 8:19pmSo normally when shows are closing they have discounts for their merchandise. For example at Boeing Boeing I got a Shirt and Poster and two free programs fro 20 bucks. I got cheap Sunday in the Park With George stuff and a bunch of [title of show] shirts. I'm going to Gypsy on Sunday and I wanna get a shirt or poster or something and was wondering if there were discounts?

They are doing $5 programs, which is great.
Anyone know if they have window cards left?? And if they're discounted? I didn't see any on Sunday.

I said outside. Unless they've stopped it, they usually sell programs and CDs out in front of the theater while people are in line and going in.
edit to add ~ I don't know if they let you go in just to the merch stand.

I haven't done it specifically at Gypsy, but I do this all the time at other shows- going in before show or during intermission to buy at the merch booth, or at the end of a show to check out BC/EFA items during that time period, I've never run into a problem with being allowed in to buy stuff when I don't have a ticket.

Well, they aren't anymore. The cast recording is $25. I was just there and asked the girl outside who had programs and cast recordings. The cast recording is $25.
But the programs are indeed $5 each!
Sorry adamgreer ~ I didn't stick around to see about going inside as I was frozen by the time she came out (understandably later than this summer given the temperature).
