Exactly, Katie Micha is Baby Louise and rumor has it there is a new Baby June on the horizon...that's why I was wondering if anyone had seen her performance yet....

I actually don't know if that's the real reason. I would assume that she physically outgrew the role, since I'm pretty sure she was already almost the same height as LuPone last summer. it is a same, though, because she was the sweetest, most earnest little Baby Louise.

I totally agree with you. I just wanted to give her a hug, she was so cute and sad.

Well, we can only hope that she goes on to bigger and even better things.

Hi! Yes, I have. I was at the show a few weeks ago and noticed the little girl who is balloon girl (Jaclyn) was also playing at least two of the boy parts. She is as cute as a button!!! She is the understudy for Louise and June as well. I haven't seen her understudy those parts but I imagine she would be precious as Louise and adorable as June. Hopefully I'll get tickets again before it closes and if I'm lucky maybe get to see her as June or Louise!!!

I saw the matinee today with Pearce on as Tulsa and Matty as Yonkers.

I liked Pearce. I enjoy him very much as Yonkers, so seeing him in a different role was interesting. He’s very different from Tony and not as good a dancer, but I liked his energy and thought he did very well. Matty was um… I guess “weirdly sassy” as someone else described pretty much sums it up. I still can’t picture what kind of Tulsa he’d make.

Also, Dorothy was on as Electra and she was just as hilarious as Marilyn!

Laura was still sick. She was coughing a bit, but that didn’t interrupt her performance and her voice still sounded beautiful when she sang. Her energy was kind of lacking, which was a little disappointing, but understandable since she was obviously still feeling under the weather.

‘The Strip’ completely changed that though! She was sexier than ever walking around that stage. She was just on fire with her line delivery and her voice was very strong. She even got some "woo's" and whistles, particular during the "beg" part. The craziest part though was during the "ecdysiast" part. She found the bald guy in the audience in front row center, went over to him, got down on all fours and was leaning over the stage towards him. And went on to say her lines, “…he’s embarrassed…” It was definitely a big surprise! The audience went pretty wild and I can only imagine how that guy felt. I would've died if I was sitting near him.

Was anyone else there?

I was! my friend and I were sitting in the right box (which were actually really good seats). she'd never seen Gypsy before, and she really liked it. and I thought that Laura was a little less than usual, although she sounded amazing. but that "he's embarrassed" part killed me.

^Oh, then we were right under you guys in partial view orch. seats on the far right, haha.

I was pretty shocked when Laura did that! lol
And did you like when Boyd picked up Patti during “I’ll Never Get Away From You?” LOL. That’s another thing I’ve never seen them do before. It has been way too long since I've last seen it (over 2 months, lol).

What did you think of Pearce and Matty?

I think I shrieked a little when he did that!

I really liked Pearce and Matty was...weirdly sassy. My friend really liked Matty, though, so I guess it's all good. she, like I said, had never seen it before, so she actually gasped when you find out Tulsa and June ran off together. that made me laugh.
