Second of all, it seems as is a lot of us are attending Gypsy on Monday, so a fellow BWW-er & I would like to do dinner before the show with everyone. So, if anyone would like to join, send me a PM or leave a message on the board. Any ideas where to go? The theatre in on West 44th. Any nice places on 8th or 9th Avenues?

Let's make it happen!

re: Gypsy-related fun!

If it counts, I saw Laura Benanti walking to work this afternoon...and I noticed a huge black Escalade parked outside the St. James. I guess it meant Patti in 'da Hiz-ouse.

re: Gypsy-related fun!

I'm co-hosting with Ry.

Let's do dinner somewhere not-too-expensive.

Anyone attending the first preview, let us know if you want to join!

re: Gypsy-related fun!

Aww! I'll be at the first preview, but am coming straight from work in CT, so I won't even get into the city until 7ish. But have fun! (and if anyone wants to say hello, I'd love to meet some BWWers at intermission! :))

re: Gypsy-related fun!

I will be 500 miles away, but I suggest Angus McIndoe right next to the theatre. Great food, great atmosphere and just all around awesomeness.
that's a really big mic...

re: Gypsy-related fun!

There's always John's, right next door, if people want to do pizza.

re: Gypsy-related fun!

If I were going, I'd gladly join.

Since I'm not, have fun, all!

re: Gypsy-related fun!

I joined and posted "I can't wait to see this!"

I wish I were going to the first preview. Yeah, John's is great!

re: Gypsy-related fun!

John's works for me. It's simple, not too expensive, sit-down, and right next door.

re: Gypsy-related fun!

Is the meet-up still on? If so, what time?

re: Gypsy-related fun!

I work 'til 6, so I'm thinking, 6:30 at John's next to the St. James.

So, who all is going? Me, WBAF & adamgreer? Anyone else?

re: Gypsy-related fun!

And do we need to make reservations at John's? I'd imagine not, but I just thought I should check!

re: Gypsy-related fun!

On a Monday night, no. Place should be empty.

re: Gypsy-related fun!

Ry, is that the official playbill for the show?
that's a really big mic...

re: Gypsy-related fun!

Love that Playbill ! As far as dinner--- we should be fine on Nonday night at "John's" -- wont be a theatre crowd to worry about :)

re: Gypsy-related fun!

I might be attending tomorrow. I'm supposed to be getting a major refund from my University tomorrow. If I do, I'm totally scooping up myself a single ticket for the performance. I'll post first thing I know and let you know so I can meet you all at John's, hopefully!

re: Gypsy-related fun!

You all have fun at John's and at the show!
