I can't wait! I hope they seat all the TDF-ers together....it would be fun to sit with all the BWW-ers too.

If I get a ticket, I'm going to shoot for the best seat possible. I'll probably call and ask for best available. This is one I want to see up close the first time.

Perhaps post-show drinks & discussion, too?

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Awesome, Capn!

You have my cell number. We'll see you at John's at 6:30pm. If you can get there a bit earlier, that would be great too.

And I hate to be one of "those people" but I'll be wearing my Lupone Gypsy shirt. LOL

I have no choice! I only grabbed 6 shirts for my NYC trip and one of them happened to be LuPone Gypsy. It's destiny. Haha.

Why don't we all meet in front of the theatre at 7:30 for those who can't make dinner?

I was wondering if those who bought tickets from TDF for the show could tell me where their seats were. I have tickets for this week and am trying to prepare myself for sitting in the balcony lol.

The word from people on this board has been that TDF seats for GYPSY have been in the front to mid mezzanine.

Hello. I'm planning on seeing the June 10th perf of "Gypsy". It would be cool to meet some BWW forum members during my June 10 - 13 stay in the Big A. I'll wear something colorful and "Patti" so you all can recognize me. (I just remembered... I need to order my "A Chorus Line" ticket so I can see Mario Lopez as "Zach".) Later, from RC in Austin, Texas (the allergy capital of the U.S.) trust me on this one....

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
